Today, Promedics celebrates its 30th anniversary!

Founded three decades ago by Fritz Bönzli, Promedics was built on a simple but demanding idea: delivering high-quality medical technologies through trust, expertise, and enduring partnerships. What began as a focused distribution business has evolved over decades with clinicians and the healthcare system, guided by listening and a commitment to bringing solutions and innovation to market.

Over the past three decades, Promedics has grown its portfolio and capabilities while remaining committed to the same core principles on which it was founded. Today, our focus product groups include Neurosurgery, Endovascular Interventions, Urology and Gynaecology—and, since 2025, Orthopedics and Spine, marking an important expansion into a new therapeutic area.

As we mark this anniversary, we remember and honor the legacy of Fritz Bönzli, whose vision laid the foundation for Promedics.

We also thank our team, customers, and partners who have shaped the company over the past 30 years through their trust and collaboration.

We look ahead with clarity and purpose as we continue to build on this legacy.
